Hope For Teens is a faith-based, non-profit organization for families in crisis. We offer help through an established network of ministries. Oftentimes those we help are defiant, unmotivated, truant, and involved in immoral lifestyles, including promiscuity, drug abuse, alcohol and outright rebellion.
We receive phone calls from parents all over America, asking for help. One of the services we offer is "Search & Rescue" for a defiant teen that may be uncooperative or unwilling to come into the program. Partnering with the parents, we arrange for their child to be picked up by our licensed Chaplains, who are specially trained to minister to these children.
Our K-12 school provides senior and junior high school students with a well-rounded academic achievement plan. Diagnostic testing for all subjects is available for students who need accurate placement. Students can enroll anytime during the school year, as credits are transferable to and from any recognized school.
Vocational Training is offered, where students can learn marketable skills, which greatly increases their self-worth. Training is offered in computer graphics, computer networking, web design, video production, audio engineering, office skills, landscaping, auto mechanics and construction.
With our Family Life Training discipleship, family members are educated and equipped so they can model after and build upon the disciplines taught in the Word of God. This is accomplished through seminars, correspondence courses, online sessions and counseling. Counseling can be arranged via phone-conference, in-person or at the family's residence anywhere in the U.S. weekly parent support groups allow interaction between families who face similar situations. Participants are able to encourage one another as they walk through the healing and recovery process of their loved ones.
Phase II offers a transitional program and school of ministry for those who may want to further their education and receive specialized training for future employment. It is here where students can develop independent living skills and become productive members of society. They are given opportunity to give back by serving the youth at Hope for Teens, the elderly in rest homes and the homeless in feeding centers throughout the community. They also experience worldwide missions trips giving them a broader appreciation for humanity as a whole.
Our Church is a bible based, spirit filled, family oriented Church for the entire community. The worship is inspirational and the preaching of the Word is powerful. We have made "Church" an exciting experience in a contemporary way. Heart-felt testimonies are heard every week. Illustrated sermons and multi-media presentations are used to convey spiritual truths. The preachers can be extremely humorous, yet eternally serious at the same time. It is common to see broken hearts mended, families weeping and praying together, attitudes of repentance, strongholds broken, emotions healed, and spirits refreshed. We are experiencing revival, and it's awesome to be where God's presence is so strong.
All of these different services combined address the needs of the whole person by providing spiritual nurturing, recreation, vocational training, academic achievement, health and social development all in one program. We, at Hope for Teens, are convinced that this is the solution to strengthening families and communities throughout America.
